It's A Girl!

Yoohoo! It's a girl! Olivia delivered a healthy 4.4 kilo (9lb 14oz) baby at 7:28 p.m. on Thursday January 1st, 2004...she is named Maya Marijke Williams. She's absolutely gorgeous. Mother and baby both very well.

Olivia, you are my superwoman once again. Maya, I love you. TJ - we're nearly outnumbered, mate!

Gory details for posterity - Olivia started labour at around 11:00 a.m. and we got to the hospital at 2:20 p.m. Maya was 56.5 cm long. She's feeding really well. Olivia's sister Andrea takes the prize for closest guess - she guessed we'd be having a girl, that weighed 9lb 13oz.
